News : Is Luke Bryan Born Here Live Here Die Here Release His New Album On This Friday ?

After initial delays, amid COVID-19, Luke Bryan’s hotly-anticipated album, Born Here Live Here Die Here will be available this Friday, August 7 via Capitol Nashville. While fans will have to wait until 2021 to catch Bryan on tour, they’ll have plenty of chances to watch him performing live, thanks to a packed schedule of appearances.

On Friday, Bryan celebrates the release of his album by playing a set for the 2020 Summer Citi Music Series on TODAY. Later that day, at 3:00 pm PST, fans will have an opportunity to interact with Bryan during an Amazon Live appearance. In addition to performing songs from his latest album, the artist will answer real-time questions via the live-stream’s chat feature. Ahead of his set, fans can also submit questions via Bryan’s social media.

“The second I heard the song “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here” (written by Jameson Rodgers, Josh Thompson, Jake Mitchell) it related to me, how I grew up, how I have so many roots and so many ties to my hometown,” said Luke. “Being tied to your hometown is very important in country music. I fell in love with the song right away and now we have an album and a tour derived from this song. It’s pretty amazing. I’m proud of this new music and I’m really excited to get it out!”

The country star will kick off the following week with a Monday evening performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, followed by appearances on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday and The Kelly Clarkson Show on Wednesday.

Finally, on August 15, Bryan will step on to the Grand Ole Opry stage for the 4,937th Saturday night broadcast with his friend and Opry member Darius Rucker for Opry Live on Circle. The network will further celebrate Born Here Live Here Die Here with an artist takeover on August 19, concluding with the premiere of Circle Sessions: Luke Bryan.

Ahead of its release, Bryan’s latest album already includes three back-to-back No.1 singles – “Knockin’ Boots,” “What She Wants Tonight,” and, most recently, “One Margarita,” which became the country star’s 25th No.1 single.

In June, meanwhile, Bryan announced that he would be postponing his “Proud To Be Here” tour until 2021. The run of dates – featuring special guest Morgan Wallen, with openers Caylee Hammack, Runaway June, and DJ ROCK – will now kick off May 30 in Youngstown, OH, and conclude in Mountainview, CA on October 9. As excitement builds through this week, on Friday, Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. PT, Luke will perform new songs from BORN HERE LIVE HERE DIE HERE for Amazon Music’s ongoing livestream series, bringing stripped-down sets and intimate conversations with fans to Amazon. Prior to the performance, fans can submit questions by commenting on Luke’s social posts and he’ll also answer real-time questions via the chat feature during the stream. Amazon Music and Amazon Live have also collaborated with Luke to raise awareness for The Brett Boyer Foundation, viewers will have the option to learn more about the organization while watching the stream.
